Johann Lafer actually Johannes Lafer, born on September 27 1957 in Graz, Austria. Johann Lafer is an austrian chef, enterpreneur and an author. He lives with his wife and his 2 kids in Guldental, where he has his restaurant and cooking studio. Johann Lafer got his apprenticeship in the 70s. In 1977 he worked at the hotel Schweizer Hof in Berlin. As of 1979 he worked in Hamburg for the restaurant Le Canard.
Johann Lafer was pastry chief at the hotel Schweizer Stuben in Wertheim. The great cooking career went forward to the restaurant Aubergine in Munich from Eckart Witzigmann. He took over the position as pastry chief and wrote some books with Witzigmann. From 1982 he worked for the famous parisian pastry and boulanger Gaston Lenôtre, who has a branch in the KaDeWe for decades. By May 1983, he was head chef at the restaurant Le Val d'Or, owned by his future wife Silvia Buchholz in Guldental. The restaurant has been relocated to Stromberg (Rheinland-Pfalz). Tim Mälzer Born on Januar 22, 1971 in Elmshorn. Tim Mälzer is a german chef, an author and TV chef. He made his apprenticeship at the hotel InterContinental in Hamburg. Afterwards he worked at hotel Ritz in London. Besides, Tim Mälzer also worked together with Jamie Oliver in the restaurant Neal Street in London. Another well known station was also Tafelhaus from Christian Rach (also a TV chef). Tim Mälzer took over das Wiße Haus in Ovelgonne in 2002, which he then left in 2007. In May 2008, Tim Mälzer announced the opening of his new restaurant Bullerei in Hamburg. Tim Mälzer got well known from television, especially the show "schmeckt nicht gibt's nicht" (translated : there is nothing that doesn't taste (good). Stefan Marquard Born on June 20, 1964 in Schweinfurt. Stefan Marquard began his steps with an apprenticeship as a butcher in 1979-1981. Then he decided to cook and learned it in Würzburg. After his succesful apprenticeship, Stefan Marquard worked at Graues Haus and also in Nuremberg. He also made an italian trip in a year in order to take a look at some top italian restaurants. Stefan Marquard opened then his own restaurant Drei Stuben in Meersburg and got a michelin star and 18 points from Gault Millau for his excellent cooking. The typical thing about Stefan Marquard is that he declines to wear a traditional chef clothes. He often wears black rock T-shirts instead. Stefan Marquard's website

Ralf Zacherl Born on Januar 9, 1971 in Wertheim. Ralf Zacherl once worked for Stefan Marquard at his restaurant Drei Stuben and got his Michelin star while working at Grauen Haus. In 1998 Ralf Zacherl worked at Athenee Palace in Djerba and in 1999 at the restaurant STIL in Beriln. He got the best newcomer award in 2001 from Gastro Award. Ralf Zacherl had his TV show, called Einfach Kochen. Since then he was well known in Germany. Zacherl cannow be found in some other TV shows, such as Die Kochprofis (RTL2), Planet Cook (KIKA, ZDF) and also Kocharena (VOX). Steffen Henssler Born on September 27, 1972 in Neuenbürg. Steffen Henssler is a chef, autor and TV chef. Steffen Henssler grew up in Hamburg and he runs the restant Henssler & Henssler with his father together. He got his apprenticeship from the restaurant Andresens Gasthof in Bargum. Steffen Henssler found his affectation in sushi and he used his winning from german lottery to visit a sushi academy in Los Angeles. He then got his certificate as a professional sushi chef with best notes. Afterwards he worked in several restaurants in USA and then he got back to Hamburg to opena restaurant with his father. Martin Baudrexel Born on March 13, 1970 in Munich. Martin Baudrexel achieved his apprenticeship at St. Pius Culinary Institute in Montreal, Canada. Afterwards he worked at several restaurants in canada, such as Toque. In 2003, Martin Baudrexel returned to Munich to open his own restaurant Rubico. Alfons Schuhbeck Born on May 2, 1949 in Traunstein. His actual name was Alfons Karg. He grew up in Chiemgau and met Sebastian Schuhbeck, who convinced Alfons to work at his restaurant. Schuhbeck adopted Alfons. That's how Alfons got his family name Schuhbeck. After his first steps, Alfons worked at several restaurants in Salzburg, Geneva, Paris, London and Munich (Käfer, Dallmayr and Aubergine from Eckart Witzigmann). Since 1990 Alfons Schuhbeck organized a party service for first class events, such as ECHO-Award, Ball des Sports, Bundeskanzler-Fest. He opened the restaurant Südtiroler Stuben in 2003 in Munich. In 1990, Alfons Schuhbeck established the company Schuhbecks am Platzl GmbH, which includes his restaurant, a wine bistro, a party service, a cooking school, a spice shop, a chocolate shop and an ice cream parlour. One of his projects is called Blue Star Train, which is a renovation of a train into a 204 meters (670 ft) long restaurant.
